Role overview
We are seeking a highly creative and experienced (Senior) Product Designer to join himala (Oxolo GmbH) in Hamburg. himala is an AI-powered meeting preparation app designed to help people feel more prepared, in control, and empowered in their day-to-day work and life. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our product, driving design excellence, and turning complex AI capabilities into simple, delightful user experiences.
Responsibilities
Lead the design of new features and enhancements for our AI meeting preparation app, establishing strong design foundations from the ground up.
Thrive in an evolving startup environment with high ambiguity, adapting quickly to changes while keeping users at the center of your decisions.
Collaborate closely with other designers, engineers and product managers, challenging and pushing the team to achieve high-quality outcomes.
Conduct continuous user research, validating design decisions with data and user feedback.
Own the end-to-end design process, from concept to execution, ensuring a cohesive and intuitive experience across the product.
Required qualifications
4+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio of launched and scaled digital products (ideally SaaS or productivity tools).
Experience working in fast-paced, changing environments where flexibility and adaptability are key.
Strong ability to collaborate with engineers, challenge ideas constructively, and drive decisions that lead to better products.
Excellent communication skills with a knack for articulating design solutions and their impact on user and business value.
Deep empathy for users and a user-centric approach to design.
Based in Hamburg or willing to relocate within Germany.
